How to use Rulixy with TikTok LIVE Studio

Load the Rulixy web Overlay directly inside your TikTok LIVE Studio scene. The Control can stay behind LIVE Studio: spins travel through Rulixy's temporary session and the Overlay renders them inside the source.

Recommended method: if your TikTok LIVE Studio installation provides a Web / Link source, use it with the URL generated by Rulixy. For a vertical scene, start with 9:16 · 1080 × 1920.

Before you start

Keep Rulixy open in a modern browser.
Select the scene where the wheel should appear.
Decide whether the wheel stays visible or appears only during selected moments.
Configure and test the scene before going LIVE.

Step-by-step setup

In Rulixy open Settings → Stream.

Choose 9:16 for a vertical scene or Wheel only for a compact area.

Choose Transparent. If LIVE Studio does not preserve alpha correctly, switch to Green Chroma.

Press Copy TikTok URL.

In TikTok LIVE Studio add a Web / Link source if available and paste the complete URL.

Position the source and return to Rulixy. Wait for 🟢 Overlay connected.

Press Test Overlay and check the preview before going LIVE.

9:16 or Wheel only?

📱 9:16

1080 × 1920. For a full vertical composition or a large mobile-first wheel.

🎯 Wheel only

700 × 700. For placing the wheel alongside gameplay, camera, chat or alerts.

Transparency and Chroma

Transparent should be your first option because the new /overlay/ page is designed without a background. Transparency support may vary by LIVE Studio version or source type.

✨ Transparent

Best when the Web/Link source preserves alpha. Only the wheel, pointer, status elements and celebrations remain visible.

🟩 Green Chroma

A fallback if transparency appears white or black. Select Green Chroma in Rulixy and key out that color if your workflow supports it.

Rulixy can stay behind LIVE Studio

The current method does not depend on capturing a visible Chrome window. LIVE Studio loads the Overlay directly, so the Control can stay behind it. Keep the Control open while you want to send new spins.

Connection status

🟡 Waiting for Overlay: LIVE Studio has not opened the URL yet or the source is still starting.
🟢 Overlay connected: tests and spins can be sent.
🔴 Connection error: check Internet, reload the source or generate a new link.

Ideas for using the wheel during a LIVE

pick a challenge before a match;
choose a weapon, class or rule;
run a community giveaway;
eliminate players in Battle Royale mode;
choose the next player, team or turn.

Use Normal mode for quick moments and Hype Mode for finals or higher-impact spins.

If the Overlay does not appear or spin

Make sure the complete URL was pasted, including the final #k=… fragment.

Confirm Rulixy shows 🟢 Overlay connected.

Reload the Web/Link source and wait a few seconds.

If the background is white, try Green Chroma.

If the session stops responding, press Regenerate link and replace the URL.

Privacy and security

The Overlay uses a temporary session and bridge data is sent encrypted. The page does not load Analytics or the consent banner. Treat the Overlay URL as private and do not publish or expose it on screen.

Tips for a clean vertical scene

Keep the wheel away from your face and critical game information.
Leave room for comments, alerts and native TikTok elements.
Use LIVE Studio's preview to check the mobile viewer experience.
Run one test spin with audio before going LIVE.
For Battle Royale, leave room for TOP 3, FINAL and champion states.
