How to document a giveaway clearly
You do not need a complicated audit trail. Keep the final entrant list, the published rules and, when appropriate, a recording or screenshot of the result. If the draw is live, explain before spinning how duplicate entries, absent winners or unresponsive winners will be handled. Transparency depends more on predictable rules than on performing repeated spins for the audience.
Avoid changing the list after the draw begins
Once the draw starts, keep the same list unless you discover a clear and explainable error. Adding or removing entries mid-process can create doubts about the result. If a serious problem appears, pause the draw, explain it, fix the list and restart under a clear rule rather than silently editing participants.

If each person may win only once, enable automatic removal before the first spin. If repeat wins are allowed, leave the list unchanged and state that rule in advance. When prizes have different values, decide whether the main prize or smaller prizes are drawn first before you know any winner.
What if a selected winner is not eligible?
The wheel selects from the entries it receives; it cannot verify external eligibility. If the winner must follow an account, live in a specific region or respond within a deadline, publish that condition before the draw. When someone is ineligible, apply the announced replacement rule and reroll only when that rule requires it.
