RULIXY presets, customization and backups

Prepare RULIXY for different events, save configurations and reduce the risk of losing important settings.

What you can customize without changing selection

RULIXY separates appearance from selection logic. You can change the visual style, theme, logo, titles and sounds without changing participant probabilities. This lets you prepare a branded stream, classroom activity or event while keeping the same selection engine underneath.

The three wheel styles

Classic Pro

Balanced, dimensional and visually strong. A safe choice for streams, giveaways and general presentations.

Neon Gaming

Brighter and more technological, built for gaming and high-energy scenes.

Clean / Minimal

Reduces visual effects and prioritizes clarity. Useful for classrooms, meetings and quieter layouts.

Themes and color palette

Gold, Cyber, Purple and Fire change the overall identity without forcing you to redesign every segment. RULIXY uses an expanded palette to keep adjacent entries visually separated, especially as lists grow. Before streaming, check contrast and readability at the real size the audience will see.

Center logo and titles

A center logo can keep your visual identity consistent, but use a clear, lightweight image that remains recognizable at small sizes. Avoid graphics containing lots of text because the center of a wheel is not a good place for detailed reading. Screen titles should identify the activity—such as “Community giveaway” or “Challenge of the night”—rather than repeat full instructions.

Custom sounds

RULIXY can use custom audio for victory, elimination and champion moments. Those media files are stored locally in the browser. If you work on multiple computers, remember that local files do not automatically appear on the other device. Configuration export helps with compatible settings, but always review media on the computer you will actually use for the stream.

List presets

Save a list when you know you will reuse the same base of participants, teams, challenges or options. Use descriptive names so a test list cannot be mistaken for the final one. Before a real giveaway, reopen the preset and verify that it still matches current eligibility rules; an old preset may contain people who no longer qualify.

Exporting and importing a setup

Finish the list, titles, mode and appearance.
Use Export wheel to create a backup of supported configuration data.
Store the file somewhere private and easy to identify.
On another browser or after a major change, use Import wheel.
Visually verify participants, mode, theme and options before spinning.

What to verify after importing

Do not assume that an imported configuration means the whole streaming environment is ready. Recheck the Overlay, resolution preset, OBS/TikTok sources, custom sounds and any remote-control token. Some features depend on local data or temporary sessions and should not be treated as permanent credentials.

Local storage and IndexedDB

Main lists and preferences live in the browser. Media such as logos and sounds may use IndexedDB to avoid stricter storage limits. This improves the local experience, but clearing site data can remove configuration. For an important event, keep an exported backup before cleaning browser data.

Different setup for different contexts

Streaming

Prioritize contrast, Overlay layout, audio and a composition that does not fight with camera, chat or gameplay.

Classroom

Use Clean / Minimal, short names or aliases, and avoid loud effects if the activity will repeat many times.

Public giveaway

Keep titles clear, review the final list and choose a style that keeps the pointer and result easy to see. Decoration should never make the selected result harder to understand.

Before an important event

Prepare the setup early, export a backup, close features you will not use and run one or two test spins with sample entries. Then restore the real list and avoid last-minute appearance changes. A stable workflow usually matters more than adding one extra effect just before going live.
